Steve has worked in both the private and public sector for well over 35 years and has a wealth of experience and accumulated a wide and ranging knowledge base that has grown from his “grass roots” hands on work, leading and managing through to strategic management and directing. He is a passionate community activist and advocate supporting a number of community groups and organisations across Plymouth and the South West in a voluntary capacity, holding positions of Trustee, Director, Chairperson and Advisor.

I have been a Team Leader for Plymouth City Soup Run for several years. Alongside my passion for supporting the homeless, I also saw the great need in Plymouth of families struggling to feed their children. I started the ‘Community Food Share’ from my local church but as the need grew over a couple of years, I founded Provide Devon to carry on the work and reach more of the community. I am happy to be an active member within the charity, as my heart is for no one to be hungry.
